There is no shortage of talented photographers on Cape Breton Island! From the time I bought my first camera I understood that if I was going to offer photography professionally, I was going to focus on a unique style, stand out from the crowd, and become as versatile as possible. I stay in touch with all the trends and fads of the industry, but try not to rely on them too much. It is more important to me to be always reaching out for new ideas and new ways of looking at things.
My approach is very relaxed & easy-going. Whether it is a little child in my studio or a nervous bride getting ready, a little serenity and some lighthearted humour can go a long way to making the photography that much more genuine and warm.
